The garden at Engine 15 was one of our most abundant in 2014. We attracted quite a few interested neighbors to help us plant the garden this year and to talk about growing food. Captain David Dugan is bringing a large supply of gardening know-how to this garden and will certainly be a resource to help firefighters and neighbors grow, harvest, and prepare food from the two 8×4 raised beds.
Due to construction work at the station, we had to remove the two garden beds in Fall of 2015. We hope to be gardening again at this station in the future!
